Margot is a self-taught photographer and stylist photo based in Paris. Thanks to her origins of a mixed West Indian father and a mixed Franco-Belgian mother, she got to travel a lot during her childhood. Her father, who was fond of photography gave her her first film camera, she was thirteen at the time. Passionate about drawings she imagines herself as a fashion stylist or to work in an artistic environment. She attended Mod'Art International School in Paris studying Luxury Management.
Following her studies she started her career as an assistant and then as a stylist for different press groups. She also became an image consultant for individual clients. It is at this time when she met the photographer Patrick SWIRC when she was stylist assistant that it clicked and she realised her passion and interest in photography.
Thanks to him, she discovered what she described as "fashion photojournalism” after a conversation with the french actress Mireille DARC, Margot decided to take pictures and to combine her love of fashion, photojournalism and travels and started working as a photographer for humanitarian associations abroad.
She also made reports for magazines.
In 2013, she had the opportunity to take pictures of the TV show “Le Grand Journal de Canal +” backstages.
Margot regularly works with actors and shooting events, some of these include HEC, Ethiad Airways, Comexposium and many festivals. She also collaborates with fashion designers to achieve lookbooks and advertising.
